The inner drawers of this cabinet are block front construction, that is I shaped the drawer fronts from solid 2 inch cherry. This technique creates an interesting interplay of shapes and curves; I have never seen the block front style used on interior drawers like this. The tall compartments on either side pull out and fold back for hanging jewelry. The top drawer face hinges down to reveal compartments for letters. It will have a separate lock!
